GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's basketball team lost 105-80 to Mid-Continent Friday night in the Panther Paws for Poverty Classic. Daniel Anderson was the top point producer for the Panthers with 20 points and was a defensive leader with three steals.
The Panthers couldn't recover from a 20-point halftime deficit as they were down 55-35 at the break.
Putting together a double-double was Todd Albertson who picked up a game-high 16 rebounds to compliment 11 points.
Alex Mumphard tallied 15 points of his own, and MarQuel Jones dropped in 11 points.
The Panthers (6-2) host Missouri Baptist Saturday evening at 5 p.m. in Greenville's final game prior to Christmas.
