GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's basketball team was dealt a 51-42 defeat by Westminster Thursday night.  Despite first half foul trouble which limited her minutes, senior Laura Hobbie paced the Lady Panthers with a game-high 16 points.

Greenville trailed by 10 at halftime and outscored Westminster by a point in the second half.

The Lady Panthers' shooting percentage of 32.1% was actually higher than the Lady Blue Jays (28.1%), but Westminster outscored Greenville 18-5 from the free throw line.

Coley Baker led Greenville's defensive efforts, collecting seven blocked shots and three steals.  Kayla Hyde picked up six rebounds.

The loss dropped the Lady Panther record to 7-8 (3-4 SLIAC).  They return to action Saturday against Fontbonne at 1 p.m.
