Women's Basketball Comes from Behind to Top Fontbonne

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's basketball team picked up a much-needed conference victory Saturday as they defeated Fontbonne 63-57.  Despite trailing by five at halftime, the Lady Panthers outplayed Fontbonne in the second half backed by the offensive and defensive efforts of Coley Baker and her 15 points, nine rebounds, and six blocked shots.

Greenville's scoring was balanced as Emily Gundy and Laura Hobbie scored 13 points each, and Kayla Hyde posted 10 points.  Hobbie also collected 11 rebounds.

The Lady Panthers (8-8, 4-4 SLIAC) return to action Wednesday as they host Lindenwood - Belleville at 8 p.m.
