ST. LOUIS, Mo.-- The Greenville College Women's Cross Country team was awarded the team Sportsmanship Award and freshman, Molly Works, was honored with a spot on the Second Team All-Conference.
This year marks the second consecutive year and the fourth year overall that Greenville has been awarded the team Sportsmanship Award.
Works was one of seven runners who earned a spot on the Second Team All-SLIAC. Joining Molly were Westminster's Sarah Ogar, Principia's Anneke Reed Webster's Eroica Stackhouse and Julie Greenough, and Fontbonne's Kristen Roles an Adrienne Kaup.
Sylvia Haygood was also honored, as a member of the 2012 SLIAC Women's Cross Country All-Sportsmanship Team
Members of the First Team All-Conference include Principia's Casey Powell, Sarah Litwiller and Emily Osborne, Westminster's Sarah Koestner and Kaily Downey, Fontbonne's Alyssa Tonner, and Webster's Heisse.
