GC Represented Well in NCCAA Football Post Season Honors

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Six men connected with the Greenville College football prorgam were among those who earned postseason recognition by the NCCAA for the 2012 season. GC gained notoriety for some of the most prestigious awards with Coach Ordell Walker being named head coach of the year and quarterback Brendan Chambers nabbing offensive player of the year.

In addition to being offensive player of the year, Chambers joined offensive lineman Jeremy Burrows and running back Immanuel Gamble on the NCCAA offensive first team. Defensive back Bryce Wright was named to the defensive first team.

Offensive lineman Trendan Amuzie was a member of the NCCAA offensive second team.

The Panthers wrapped up the 2012 season tied for its most wins in a single season with eight and the NCCAA Victory Bowl championship.
