Men's Cross Country Awards Announced, Young Honored

ST. LOUIS, Mo.-- Greenville's Nathan Young was named to the SLIAC First Team All-Conference and a few other GC runners were honored with post-season recognition.

Young joined five other SLIAC runners to round out the First Team All-Conference. Other athletes on the team include Spalding's Abram Deng and Haile Jemane and Principia's Derrick Fleming, Wylie Mangelsdorf, and Adam Rolph.

Ross Baker, another Greenville runner, was named to the Second-Team All-SLIAC. Also on the Second Team were Spalding's Allen Matthews, Westminster's Matt Borst and Daniel Lindaman, Webster's Ethan Jefferies and Jason Hickson, and Principia's Kynan Hicks-Witters.

Panther Tony Briscoe was named to the 2012 SLIAC Men's Cross Country All-Sportsmanship Team.
