GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's basketball team pulled out a nail-biter tonight, beating Lindenwood Belleville 67-64 in an overtime thriller. The Lady Panthers were led by three players scoring in double figures and two with a double-double game. Ieisha Adams took charge with an impressive 22 point 13 rebound evening.
Coley Baker chipped in for a double-double of her own with 16 points 15 rebounds. Laura Hobbie also had a productive evening with 20 points and seven rebounds.
Lindenwood's defense caused Greenville some troubles as GC had 34 turnovers but were able to hang on in overtime and win by three.
The Lady Panthers move to 9-8 overall and will take the court again on the road on Saturday at 1 p.m. against SLIAC foe Blackburn College.
