Women's Cross Country Places 33rd at NCAA Regionals

Women's Cross Country Places 33rd at NCAA Regionals

WINNECONNE, Wisc.-- The GC Women's Cross Country team finished 33rd out of 40 teams in the NCAA Midwest Regional Meet at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Rosie Nelson finished first for Greenville with a time of 25:28.96 and a 6:51 minute mile pace. Nelson, a junior, came in 179th out of the 276 runners.

Molly Works was the second runner in for Greenville, finishing with a time of 25:29.64. Works ran a 6:51 minute mile pace and came in 181st.

Aubree Schreder was the next Panther runner to cross the finish line, with a time of 25:58.64 and a 6:59 minute mile pace.

Taylor Thomas (26:27), and Jessica Przybylski (26:44), also scored points for GC.

The team consisted of Nelson, Works, Schreder, Thomas, Przybylski, Bailey Keim, and Sydney Bennett.

Women's Cross Country Places 5th in the SLIAC Championships

HILLSBORO, Ill.-- The Lady Panther Cross Country team finished 5th overall in the SLIAC Championship, with Freshman, Molly Works leading the team across the finish line.

Works finished first for GC and 14th overall. Aubree Schreder came in second for the Panthers, placing 18th overall.

Greenville finished 5th overall, with 98 total points. Principia was first, getting just 40 total points. Coming the second, third and fourth were Westminster, Fontbonne, and Webster with 58, 75, 82 points respectively.
